I have started a blog on blogger! So follow this link for more info!

I have decided to test the waters this Saturday at the fair in Morningside. Il have a small selection of bookmarks, keyrings and candle holders all designed with the art of pyrography. After the day I will put what I have left online for sale.
Here are some pictures-
I have added a load of new jewellery to the shop! There are more types of necklaces to choose from including longer beaded ones that can slip over your head. My favourite one is the amber chips on sterling silver beading chain. It is so fine and delicate but really brightens u
p any outfit! It was touch and go there to see if I would keep it for myself!
This can be found in the online shop - http://www.greentreecrafts.com/page17.htm
Another favourite of mine is the shell pendant, with sterling silver wire and freshwater pearls. I picked up the shell on a beach on Islay when I visited there last year. I love using natural objects in my work and the beach is a great place to find them. Unfortunatly I am not so near a beach where I live so I need to take advantage of any oppertunity! I hope to
make some wooden pendants of my own, but I'm still experimenting.

Lately I have been practicing my pyrography! I received my machine a couple of days a go and while i wait for some proper wood i grabbed a wooden spoon from the kitchen to have a go on! This is my first ever attempt, so be gentle!
After I practice some more I hope to add some pieces for sale on here!

As im sure you can see I have changed the design of the website. I felt like it needed a change seeing as i will soon be launching a new series of jewellery! Its still not quite finished so keep looking back for more changes.
On Wednesday 18th March I will have a table at Craiglockhart Campus in Edinburgh. I will be selling from 11am to 3pm.
You can get the number 10 or 27 bus to the campus which is just near Oxgangs and the end of Colinton Road.
Just in time for Mothers Day!
Its been a bit quiet around here for a while. I have had a few technical difficulties with a computer but i should be up and running within the next week or two. So look out for more items for sale and an update of my jewellery course.
I have had some good news with regard help from Business Gateway, so i hope to be expanding my range of jewellery in the next few months. Soon i will be creating my very own proper workshop in my house! How exciting is that!
As always you can contact me about commisions or feel free to leave a comment on the guest book.
The Fair on Saturday was great! Thanks to all who bought my jewellery. Due to technical difficulties i cannot update my website with the jewellery you saw at the fair. So if there was anything in particlar that you liked at the fair but dont see it online then let me know.
I have another fair at the same location in April.
Tonight is the first night of my Silversmith evening course! I am very much looking forward to it and will keep you updated with anything i make. I hope to gain as much knowledge from this class as possible so i can begin to experiement at home too.
I have added a load more items to the store, including more sets of necklaces, earrings and bracelets. Remember you dont need to buy the whole set if you just want one of the items but you get money off for buying them all together.
Also added are more copper items. Copper has been proven as a healing quality for sufferers of arthritis and joint pain. It also looks very pretty!

My next craft fair will be Saturday 7th February at the Columcille Centre, Morningside from 10.30am - 4.30pm.

Hope to see you there!
The craft fair at the Royal Concert Hall was a great day out! I got to meet some fellow crafters and had my first experience of running a stall. Thanks to Sandra for her help.
Il have new stock from the fair coming onto the website so if you liked anything you saw it should be up soon! If there was anything you liked but dont see it on the website then send me an email.
Here is a cheesy photo for you all, lol.

On December the 13th at 12pm I shall have a stall at this venue -
Glasgow Bizarre Bazaar - Glasgow Royal Concert Hall
With it being my first fair i am a little nervous but very excited to see how it will go. I will have a helping hand from Sandra, my boyfriends mum. Her talent for being organised and calm shall hopfully rub off on me but we'l see. I have been making pendants tonight, as well as starting my sterling silver range.
It costs £1 at the door with under 14s going free.
Hope to see you there!
Its all about matching earrings and pendants in the shop today! 3 new pendants each with earrings to match and all very different.
First off we have our old favourite, amethyst. 4 round beads wire wrapped to match either long or short amethyst round beaded earrings. Secondly we have moss agate mixed with hematite and thirdly we have rose quartz mixed with black agate.
All can be found in the shop!

Yesterday was my last official pottery class! Its been excellent and il miss my tuesday nights with the rest of my fellow potters! However i have my silversmith class to look forward to in January. Its at the same institute (Leith Academy) and i might even see some familiar faces there!
So here are my results so far from the class. I have a couple more small pots and my big pot to collect next week and il make sure and take photos of them too. Some of these are going to be christmas presents for the family. Otherwise il have 14 pots in the kitchen!

Apologise for any bugs on the links in the information page. Im ironing as we speak! New site and new site builder = few issues!
Thanks for your patience!
Iv added a links section to the website so i can direct you to any sites of interest.
The first one i have put up takes you to Waterford Local Radio Station where my Uncle Rodders works at. Thanks to him for putting my link on that website!!
You may
have gathered by now that this is my first venture into websites.
Thanks to all the people who left messages on the guest book! It means
a lot. I have already had a major sell! You know who you are so thanks
to you too!
This
is something that i have wanted to do for a while now. It was my half
sister who bought me that first wire and tools. She is also a very good
crafter in her own right! It was my love of earrings that made me want
to learn how to make wire jewellery. To me the longer the better! So if
you find that most of my earrings on here are on the long side, give me
a buzz and i'll make sure there are some shorter ones! As i began to
make more and more items i decided i needed to share some of them with
the rest of you. Its only mean to keep them all to myself. So being the
internet geek i am i thought that a website was the next step.
With a computer geek as a boyfriend you would think that it would be easy enough! But oh no. What do they say about working with friends or family.....(Sorry Ross!) So i ended up going on my own and making it how i wanted. Turned out alright i think.
